Lobster: we enjoyed the Colette special sauce, it was aromatic with the basil, good level of spice, and lobster meat was cooked perfect. Super friendly staff, indoor and outdoor covered patio seating, wide menu selection. The lamb chops were the standout dish for me, would definitely order that if I were to come back. We went for lunch on Sunday, it was about 60% full so no wait required. There was a large birthday group but service remained attentive and quick. Plenty of parking and family friendly.

Just had a great meal here! We tried a few dishes and everything was really fresh and flavorful. The stir-fried pork was perfectly cooked—rich but not greasy. The mapo tofu was spicy and numbing, just right with rice. The stir-fried pea shoots with preserved egg and egg were light and refreshing, balancing the meal perfectly. The ingredients feel high-quality and home-style, and the staff were friendly, explaining the dishes and where the food comes from. Definitely worth a try if you’re in Pasadena!

There were no customers even at 1 p.m. on a Saturday. The food actually tasted decent, but the interior decor was really unimpressive. The $42 Wagyu fried rice only had a few pieces of beef, which feels like a rip-off at that price. Many of the dishes are overpriced.
