The service was fast, friendly, and genuine, and the place has that old-school diner charm that’s easy to like. All of the employees were so charming, delightful, and happy — I wish I could give them five stars just for that, but it wouldn’t be a fair review of the food. Drove down from West LA specifically for this little neighborhood diner and I am so happy that I did so. The food was honestly terrific and our server was very sweet. It’s more of a local country diner than a retro diner but you can tell they cater to the locals, in a good way. It’s pretty small on the inside and remolded since some of the pics in the reviews so there is limited table options but service is very fast so I would guess they turn quickly. A staple in the community! It has been around since the 1960's and the new owners were servers there for a really long time. Gabbie and Margarita have taken completely over and saved the restaurant from closing. They have a new updated menu with the classics still in there. The kitchen staff is tiny but mighty and this place will impress you! TRY THE BISCUITS AND GRAVY This place will not disappoint, it's a cute and classy diner. They do not have a parking lot so be mindful of that when you're planning on visiting, street parking will have to do.
