I'll start by saying the service was excellent! The staff was very friendly and nice, we had a reservation and was seated very quickly. The food was good, I had the Lamb chops which were alright but I tasted the French toast and wings and I think that is what I'll be getting if I return. Overall a great brunch spot.

I visited The Breakfast Club with my mom and aunt and had a great experience. The food was delicious! I ordered the seafood grits, my mom had the shrimp and grits, and my aunt enjoyed an omelet (I can’t remember which one, but she said it was very good). The bill came to a little over $100 for the three of us, which was reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the ambiance was amazing comfortable and welcoming. Firstly, I’m from Chicago but I recently moved to DC- with that being said, I’ve been looking for new places to try since I’ve moved here. I’ve been looking to get into this restaurant since they opened, and finally got a chance after almost a year of trying ! Overall, I was pleased with the food and atmosphere. However, I didn't appreciate the 18% tip already included, since the bill has a spot to add an extra tip. So, if you're not paying close attention, it's easy to tip twice. I'm not sure the service and food were good enough to justify all that tipping. I also felt the portaron are small for the price as were the cocktails. I guess this is becoming the norm everywhere., pitiful. $5 for a cup of 6 oz coffee is ridiculous. Also, this spot is definitely smaller than I expected. My expectation were high because this place claims to be upscale
