We decided to try Moroccan cuisine while enjoying the exciting World Cup atmosphere during the Morocco vs. Canada match. The food was delicious, the prices were very reasonable, and everything was well worth it. The owner was incredibly warm and welcoming, and even treated us complimentary Moroccan tea. We’ll definitely be coming back!

We had a wonderful experience at Marrakech Express! Amal, the owner, gave us such a warm welcome as soon as we arrived, making us feel right at home. We ordered the couscous, and it was absolutely delicious. The chicken was perfectly cooked—tender, juicy, and full of flavor—and the vegetables were so soft they practically melted in our mouths. Amal also served us buttermilk with the meal, and it was unlike anything I’ve ever tasted before. It was fresh, refreshing, and the perfect complement to the couscous. I’m so happy the owner now has her own restaurant as someone who used to enjoy her food at market pop ups. I got the lamb tagine and nabati plate, both were full of flavor and the meat was cooked so well. The taste is so unique and addicting. The owner is super sweet and welcoming, I hope her business continues to flourish and she opens up many more restaurants!

I really wanted to like Marrakesh Express based on all the glowing reviews. Unfortunately, my experience didn’t live up to the hype.The food was served from a steam table on Styrofoam plates, which immediately set expectations lower than anticipated. It appears the food is prepared fresh earlier in the day, but if you’re visiting for dinner, expect it to be pulled from a hot food well rather than made to order.Another issue was pricing clarity.
