We dined at this location on a Friday night and had a great time! The location was energetic with live music and groups of people that were enjoying each other's company and the food. Service was attentive and fast. The menu is very extensive and offers so many varieties of seafood that it was difficult to make a decision, but I finally settled on the Molcajete Cora as my entree. I like a little spice in my food, mild to medium, but this was hot, so be forewarned. That being said, the flavor was so delicious that I ended up eating every bite and started to enjoy the heat tingle emanating

The family wanted some real, authentic Mexican food. We ventured out to this place and I am very glad we did! The food was flavorful and mouthwatering. The shrimp cocktail was HUGE and delicious. Pleasantly surprised is how I describe this wonderful dining experience. Established 4 years ago, El Tecate serves up large portions of seafood, libations, and atmosphere. When you walk in you will hear very loud music and smiling faces. You'll need to walk to the counter and then pick your seat and the waitress will follow you with menus. The menu is extremely extensive so pick a drink and spend 10 minutes browsing. I chose the strawberry margarita and it was delicious.
