Nicole M★★★My work friend and I got carry out from here, although it sounds like the better part of the meal tends to be their complimentary cream, strudels or crepes. We ordered dumplings with paprikash sauce over it. It comes in a styrofoam to go container and then was cellophane wrapped, to keep the paprikash sauce from getting all over everything, which was considerate. I tried the dumplings, it really does remind me of spatzel. Essentially dough bits. It was more bland than I was thinking, but similar to what I recall while visiting Budapest.
Marshelle Beebe★★★★★The restaurant decor is fresh from the 1980s. Warm carpet, lots of cozy draperies, tablecloths made out of real cloth, high-backed comfy booths, warm oak accents, plastic grape vines, and knick knacks in every nook... (you get the picture?)….THIS is my kind of restaurant! It feels so warm and inviting! I am so tired of restaurants with the modern aesthetic of cold, steel tables and cement floors! When we arrived, our hostess took us to a nice, comfy booth next to a curtain-covered window. As we settled in, we couldn’t help but notice the adorable embroidered doily under the glass on our table
Rebecca DeZeery★★★★★10/10 everything! I took my parents here tonight and the food was beyond incredible and very authentic Hungarian dishes- we were all blown away with it all! Even the atmosphere with all the Hungarian decor really brought my parents home. The owner was super kind and came over and talked to us through the night. We are all beyond happy with our experience here and will for sure be back.
John★★We were there for a memorial luncheon. When we walked in, following the signs they had to guide us, we encountered a rude young woman who kept pointing and saying "go that way". She was rude and wrong about where we needed to go. Once we got settled, the food was served buffet style. The chicken paprikash was bland, the handmade noodle dish they served was pasty, gummy, chewy and lacked any seasoning whatsoever. The stuffed cabbage was good, but there was no sauce or gravy I don't know I guess maybe a regional thing. The sausage and sauerkraut we're ok, but the sausage was overcooked and dry.
