We were so delighted to finally get to try Couch Potato! What a nifty spot in Southington. Everything was clearly made in house, particularly the mac and cheese, which came out piping hot and ultra creamy. I could hardly make a dent in mine (mac & cheese and chicken tenders) it was so stuffed full! My mom got the taco-stuffed potato, and it was excellent, I will definitely try that next time. While not fancy, the tables were comfortable, and the whole place is air conditioned and immaculately clean. Service from Lex was super friendly and accommodating. I was super excited to come here. I love a good baked potato. Unfortunately, it wasn't the best I have ever had. Don't get me wrong. It was good. And the service was phenomenal. But after bringing it home and eating our food, it left something to be desired. The amount of food we got for the price was incredible. If we are just speaking from a monetary standpoint, it was worth it, but unfortunately, I don't feel the potato shined when eating the bowl. I would like less topping and more potato.
