Been coming here for a while and honestly it's hit or miss. The chicken tenders are really good when they're fresh out the fryer, crispy, juicy, seasoned just right. But I've shown up a few times and the tenders tasted like they'd been sitting under the lamp for too long. Service is usually friendly enough, though the drive-thru line can get backed up during lunch. The honey butter biscuits are still a win. Just wish the quality was more consistent.

I spent over $70 on an order that I NEVER received, and to this day I have still not been refunded or properly taken care of. At this point, it honestly feels like my money was just taken. This was my first in person visit to a Golden Chick, and I cannot relay how impressed I was just on a simple review. Christian was very friendly and helpful, my order was ready when I got there, the environment was well lit and clean. I appreciated seeing TVs on the wall making a welcoming atmosphere. The staff were orderly and looked clean too. I haven't seen a clean fast-food place around Houston in years, so this was all mind blowing to experience. It was meh. I ordered online which lead me to believe the chicken strips would be cooked to order which was unfortunately not the case. Each strip was maybe 3" long, they were ok. The mashed potatoes were hmmm, kinda gummy and the gravy was bland, but I'm not a fan of white gravy. The root beer was weak and barely carbonated. The roll was great. I was not able to order the 6.99 deal online so it basically cost me over $3 for the crappy root beer.
