I’ve eaten at every burger joint in St.Johns county and I can say that this is hands down the best smash burger in the county and maybe all of Jacksonville. The service is here is always friendly and fast and everything else on the menu is delicious too, especially the spiedies. I’ve even had them cater an entire burger bar for some folks at my home and it was terrific. Stop in and grab a bite. You won’t be disappointed.

Rather go to Culvers. The speidie sandwich (traditional) is nothing special. I could easily marinate chicken in Greek yogurt with some Italian seasonings and lemon and oil and get the same results. It was weak as well. Served on a hotdog like roll with some kind of sauce...that's the speidie. Like I said nothing special. Smash burgers were excellent in my opinion but Culvers are very close and $3 cheaper (double deuce at Manders is $11 and double butter burger at Culvers $8). I had an original small applewood smoked bacon cheeseburger. Outstanding. Really, though, I would have been content with the side order of waffle fries. I dislike waffle fries because they are usually mushy and cold. At Manders 22, they are served hot and crispy. Delicious. One serving of waffle fries was enough for two people.

I met my friend for lunch today. The food is great. Everything was cooked to order and came out hot and fresh, including fries. My friend had the speedy and the beignets. She said it was delicious. The chicken was perfect and the bread was soft. I ordered a double trouble, shoestring fries and a cookie. The staff are great, accommodating, care about your experience. We enjoyed our meal. I’ll be returning soon to try more menu items.
