Being an avid Bulldog Burger and Harveys fan in Tupelo I really had high hopes for this Harveys in Starkville. Unfortunately 3 stars is the best I can do. The drinks by Jayden, the service from Addison and the guest appearance from Courtney was off the chain and the only reason I'm giving 3 stars. When it comes to the food I can recommend the broccoli bites, Incredible. The steaks had great flavor after we sent them back for being under cooked. The cream of chicken noodle soup was tasteless mush. The food aside the whole experience was worsened by the overwhelming presence of fruit flies buzzi

Joan F my bartender/server is so good at starting with the customer and making sure the guest experience was a phenomenal one. She acknowledged my presence immediately and made sure I was aware of the daily specials. The food came out fresh and expeditiously. I really enjoyed the dining experience and will definitely be back soon.

Because I was alone I was seated in a remote corner instead of near all the pictures under studio lights or the buzzing bar area. I didn’t have the view I would have liked and it wasn’t crazy busy while I was there so I felt like this could have been different. For larger parties, the atmosphere is great, lively and lots of nice art and creative lighting. Service was fine. Not much to say in either direction on that front. Food was disappointing for what I paid. I felt as though the crust on the steak was just burnt and the seasoning was overly simple for the upcharge. My grits were lacking

Harvey’s in Starkville is such a gem! The atmosphere has a nice, modern vibe while still keeping that Mississippi State spirit in a really tasteful way. We stopped in after the football game and were pleasantly surprised that they still had tables open. The staff couldn’t have been nice. Our waitress, Madison, was so sweet and attentive. The food was delicious, and their wine selection was impressive with so many great options to choose from! Everything was clean, including the bathrooms, which is always a big plus.
