Went last Saturday February 21st for the first time around 10am and had to wait for a table for 30 minutes, which was no problem. We get seated and the waitress brings us water and starts asking what we want to order. Mind you, we just sat down and didn’t even have a chance to look at the menu and had never been here. We told her we needed a few minutes to look over the menu. Not kidding, 1.5-2 minutes later she comes back. We hadn’t even had enough time to scan the menu. We told her we still needed some time. Really enjoyed our meal here. Started with our sweet server Abby who took care of us. I had the blue plate special. 1 meat and 2 sides. There were 4 meat choices and around 8 choices for sides. I went with the smothered pork chop with greens, scalloped potatoes and a buttered yeast roll. Also comes with water or tea for $12. My son, wife and mother-in-law had the Hungry Man Breakfast which came with 2 eggs, a pancake, grits or hash browns and the choice of bacon, sausage or ham for $12. When you come ask to try the "duck butter" my son loved it! Would definitely return to this restaurant!

Starkville Cafe is a staple around here! Great breakfast with large servings and friendly smiles every time I come. Everything is made to order and comes out hot and fresh. The omelets and eggs are always cooked just right. The pork chop, gravy and chicken fried steak are always great!
