This place is incredibly special. Its authentic non-hyped I cant talk about this place without smiling. The staff is incredibly friendly, the quality in their goods are superb, they in my opinion are arguably my favorite cannoli, st Joseph's pastry and cassata cake. I dont think anywhere else compares. I enjoy that this is a local spot, one where you see men after work or on break have a pastry and espresso, where families gather after church for a snack or to grab a box of goods, I love seeing the gathering of people inside and out and the different languages - Italian Greek French. Incredible bakery. I enjoy their bread, their cannoli’s and cheesecake. I try cheesecake from different places and the cheesecake here has a great balance of flavor. I like to pair it with a black ice coffee no sugar, cappuccino if i feel like crashing out or just plain water. The best! The seats outside make it really comfortable in warm days. Makes you go like “wow I really am in Astoria” Nice place for a date
