A few weeks ago we visited Las Olas beach in Fort Lauderdale before going to the airport late in the evening. We decided to try some Cuban, Latin foods and we found this restaurant in a walking distance from the beach. It’s actually on the Las Olas Blvd. The restaurant is in a small complex with other restaurants so it’s hard to find a parking space if you’re driving. The restaurant is very nice and clean, the servers are quite attentive and pleasant. We liked the lunch menu prices but only for M-F and it was Sat. So the prices are 40% higher. Absolutely loved this place! Very nice atmosphere and vibe. The presentation of the food was very fancy and tasted as amazing as it looked! We met the owner who took our picture in front of the restaurant and she and her husband were so nice! Can’t wait to go back to Ft. Lauderdale so we can eat here again!

Worst experience and worst service I have had in a restaurant in years. The food took over 40 minutes to arrive. After waiting that long, I asked for my drink to be replaced because all the ice had melted. To my surprise, when they took it away, they told me they would not charge me for it “this time” because I had already tasted it, as if they were doing me a favor. The drink had been sitting on the table for more than 40 minutes while we waited for our food. When I complained, the waitress simply said they were very busy and there was nothing they could do. La Costa at Olas was hands down one of the best experiences we had all Memorial Day weekend! The food was absolutely delicious, the drinks were amazing, and the atmosphere was so much fun. We ate at the bar, and the staff worked incredibly hard to make sure we had everything we needed the entire time. Their service really made the experience even better. Everything from start to finish was fantastic, and we can’t wait to come back!
