We visited this spot around 8:45 p.m., with a reservation, and our seating was perfect. The service was excellent, attentive, friendly, and welcoming from start to finish. For appetizers, we ordered the Korean BBQ skewers, oxtail dumplings, and braised short rib croquetas, and every single one was a 10 out of 10, full of flavor and beautifully prepared. Came here for a date night and it was phenomenal. Our waiter was MJ and he was super attentive, he checked on us often and made great recommendations. The manager for the night was Jasmine and she was also great, personally checking on us as well. To start, we ordered the Dakkochi - the chicken was so well seasoned and the pineapple kimchi was flavorful. Amelia’s 1931 is the upscale sister restaurant to Finka, with a similar Korean/Peruvian/Latin fusion menu. The food was as good a Finka with some style differences. I preferred the Oxtail at Amelia’s but preferred the accompanying Risotto at Finka over the Tamal en Cazuela at Amelia’s. The Seco de Res was great. I would highly recommend the food.
