As a Greek, I was very skeptical of a Lebanese - Greek fusion restaurant, but by recommendation I decided to give it a try. Lebanese food is my favorite and I find both cuisines to be entirely different despite ‘Mediterranean’ being clumped into one category. I was BLOWN AWAY. I don’t know how they did it, but they managed to perfectly combine both cuisines without sacrificing their distinct flavors. The staff was so sweet and attentive, the vibes were immaculate. Although this restaurant has been open for 7+ years and I’m a regular in downtown Tampa, tonight was my first visit. I debated between 3 and 4 stars, but I’m going with 3. We had a 6:30 PM reservation and the restaurant was fairly empty (about 4–5 tables occupied), yet we were seated at a very small two-top directly next to another couple where we could clearly hear each other’s conversations. Several larger tables nearby remained empty the entire evening. I have been here a number of times and the octopus here never disappoints. I didn’t enjoy the kefte, the 3 tiny kebabs were buried under ginormous zucchini disks and pepper wedges and then slathered in tomato sauce. The rice was the best part of the dish.
