Loved it all! Started with a tuna dish nor on the menu... plus the elote. For main dish we had the Long Bone Shortrib that was absolutely falling off the Bone and packed with flavor. We also had the chicarron dish... just enough cracking and so tender. There was a new selection available for dessert. A corn cake... very moist, light and flavorful.

Cocina Chiwas deserves all the praise it gets. From the quality of the ingredients to the way the flavors are built in each dish, everything felt thoughtful and incredibly well executed. Um, yum?! We just had the loveliest experience here. We came around 8pm on a Saturday. Food was 10/10, definitely worth the price. Atmosphere was quiet and romantic, and the service was so friendly and kind. Our server Maddy was very kind, cheerful, and attentive. Even the hostess and bussers were super friendly and personable. The music was enjoyable and at a pleasant volume, and the candles/lighting were lovely. Those birria quesadillas are to die for - we will definitely come back to get those soon.
