First time visiting. I looked over the reviews and ordered based on the reviews. I got an order of crab ragoon and the shrimp and grits. The crab ragoon were ok (a little too crispy at the edges and a bit bland, for my liking). But the shrimp and grits? I have not taste a combo, quite like that. Corn grits with actual corn pieces, plenty of shrimp, in a cream sauce. The taste was very unique. The whole wedge of lemon gave it a very distinctive taste. It was wonderful. Great vibes, like you are in your friend's kitchen. Overall great place to go.

We stayed in the area for 4 days for a vacation and ate at this place twice. We had the shrimp and grits and Cajun pasta for dinner the first time, and etouffe and garlic pasta for lunch before we left town. Everything was freshly made and excellent! The service was amazing, too! We love this hidden gem and highly recommend it!

The service was excellent. The server gave us plenty of options and he was on point and made our experience of the place elevated. He was attentive and gauged our needs perfectly. The shrimp pasta was delicious 9/10 and the meatloaf burger which is their speciality was 8/10 can’t go wrong with either. We also greatly enjoyed the crab rangoons as well.

Great food. I highly recommend the cornbread with any meal. The waiter was amazing. He worked the entire room with efficiency, answering everyone's questions, keeping drinks filled and treating each person with respect. I will eat here again before heading back to KS.
