A great spot in downtown Toledo! I had the Bakla-vatte, that was true to it's name! Rich espresso with honey and pistachio. Also enjoyed the Lox and Loaded bagel. Food and drink were excellent! They also have a vintage stereo console, actively spinning vinyl from their huge collection! A warm, friendly, and chill vibe makes this place a must-go to start the day off right!!!

Sweet Nate’s was a completely new find for us, which is my favorite thing about the quest is finding new places! This place screams coffee shop from the second you enter. It’s cozy, charming and eclectic. There is a variety of seating options from cozy couches to table and chairs. They offered a diverse selection of drink choices and also serve pastries and sandwiches. On our visit we chose to dine in with coffee and pastries and an avacado bagel. The employees are super welcoming and friendly. I do have to mention the organization of running food for a minute. We were brought the wrong plates, not once but twice. They have numbers they give you but honestly that didn’t seem to help the situation. I was more shocked that they kept misplacing food plates or placing other peoples food down incorrectly. Sweet Nate's Cafe did an excellent job handling a very large to-go order for us. Everything was clearly labeled, and when I called, they confirmed the order and asked thoughtful questions to be sure it was perfect. Our guests were very pleased and truly enjoyed both the food and drinks. My personal favorites were the Bakla-Vatte Coffee and the Queen Bae sandwich—so delicious. Next time, we plan to stay and enjoy the atmosphere, which felt cozy and inviting even during pickup. Thank you, Sweet Nate’s—we’ll absolutely be back.

Great cozy, clean, little cafe. We will definitely be back!! Food was very good. Staff is friendly. Nice little area in the back for kids to color with board games for the young and old at heart. The nostalgic decorations of music albums help set the mood. They even play one of those old albums as you enjoy your coffee, wrap, bagel, muffin, quiche, or danish. I’m sure I’m missing something they serve. We don’t drink coffee but I’m sure they are amazing. They had so many flavors that sounded delicious. My husband had the BEC and hash brown wrap and I had the BEC Asiago bagel. My bagel was so filling and so good. If you don’t know the area like I didn’t you may pass right by this, see the sign and still keep going because GPS is taking you somewhere else, on Broadway. Don’t go by that. Lol. I can’t say enough good things about Sweet Nate’s Café! The food is absolutely delicious — the quiche is a must-try, and their baked goods are always fresh and amazing. Stopped in today for a chat with the gentlemen up front and was greeted well, they were both very friendly and answered every question I had. Inside, it was very inviting. The record collection looked nice. I ordered a lavender London fog, my first time having it, and it was wonderful! Not too sweet. Not bitter. I'm usually not a tea person but I would reorder this! I also got a lemon sugar cookie, fresh and the perfect texture. Soft but not too soft, a bit chewy.
