Had to try due to many positive reviews. Jesse provided great service and info about menu. All American Burger with smash grind was devoured quickly. Brisket tacos were good. Smash fries were too messy for my liking. Overall, a good dining experience at a local favorite. I think the hype outweighed the food quality / taste.,

The south, among many other things, is creative when it comes to food. The Neon Pig in Tupelo, MS is among the most creative places I have eaten. It is a comfortable combination of a bbq joint, a burger place, and a butcher shop. Nothing on the menu looks super familiar, but that is part of the charm. We both ordered the Belvis burger and we shared an order of truffle fries. My wife also got a beer flight, which was unsurprisingly different. Fountain drinks and single serve beer are self service and the food comes out on butcher paper. Talk about reducing overhead! Our waitress was fan

Some friends of ours told us a couple years ago that if we were ever in Tupelo we had to try the Neon Pig. Finally got to try it today. The food was very good, but I especially want to compliment the two young people, Carson and Layla, working the grill area. We sat at the bar to eat and were so impressed watching these two. They were working constantly. As soon as they finished with something, they looked around to see what else needed done. It's hard to find young people willing to work so hard. Neon Pig is blessed to have them!

You just have a seat any where you want and you go get your own tea or sodas like a fast food restaurant. Waitress was nice. I ordered the smash burger. The meat seemed thick and dry without seasoning and had a different smell. Everything seemed like it was trying too hard to me. Probably why some folks would love it just seemed too much to me. Everything had to have some fancy extra flavor or sauce. I did not like the taste of my burger patty and it was so messy with toppings, I ended up cutting it and eating it with a fork and knife.
