Food was good, had Nachos Grande. They also serve chips and salsa for while you wait. Service was great! Atmosphere was good, plenty of TV's for viewing. Great background music. The place was quiet for a bit, the more people came, then a large family of about 16 with small kids came. The noise level went up, but, that is OK. Everybody was having a good time. Including me!

Good dinner overall, had the Zapata platter with grilled chicken, one chile relleno, one cheese enchilada w/rice & beans con guac and sour cream. Cheese enchilada sauce had a from a can flavor es why the 4 stars.

This place is Ah-Mazing! The food is delicious!!! I definitely recommend their carnitas as they are so tender and flavorful. Their refried beans are on point and their salsa was perfect and not too spicy. I came when they had a big party being served, but their service didn’t falter. Don’t let the small parking lot fool you; there’s more parking around back. You won’t be disappointed. El Charro has been a town staple as long as I can remember- 25+ years ago.
