After a less-than-great experience at another nearby restaurant, my wife and I stumbled across Good Day Cafe on Saturday, April 4th. We actually laughed when we saw the name, “Good Day,” and said, maybe this will turn things around. It absolutely did. From the moment we walked in, we felt the difference. An excellent menu for breakfast, brunch and lunch. Right on Georgia Street in downtown Vallejo. Outdoor seating area and the inside is quite bright and pleasant. Very attentive and friendly staff.

The best place in town for breakfast, my waitress Mariah was the nicest. This is actually my second day and she remembered me from all the folks she had served and the place stays busy. Its not too busy grab a seat, though, and the waffle combo from yesterday and spam/bacon rice I had today was awesome. Coffee is great and the atmosphere is very friendly.

One of the best breakfast spots in Vallejo. Our server Rose was amazing! I had the chicken fried steak and eggs. It was very very tasty. The country gravy was perfection! The bacon fried rice was delicious. They serve very good sized portions also. If you haven't been here, definitely give it a try. And make sure you ask for Rose.
