We had a great experience at Social Tap in Ventura Harbor. It is a restaurant and bar, but it is also very family friendly and dog friendly. They have a patio where you can bring your dog, which was a really nice surprise. Considering it is literally about a block from the water, the pricing was very reasonable. There was no sense of paying extra just because of the location, which we appreciated. I ordered the chorizo breakfast burrito. When it was first cut open, it looked heavy on the potatoes. My husband and I had lunch there. He had a BBQ tri tip sandwich and a craft beer. He enjoyed his meal. Now my meal was not so good. The Mac and cheese cup was sour and tough to eat. My carnitas burrito was a disappointment. I asked for guacamole didn't receive it. But we'll give it another try. The service was excellent and very pleasant. Nice clean restaurant.

We recently visited Social Tap Ventura and were absolutely thrilled! We tried the Southwestern Burger, Chicken Caesar Salad, and Pan Seared Salmon, and every dish was simply divine. The burger was juicy and perfectly cooked, the salad was fresh and crisp, and the salmon was tender and excellently prepared. The outstanding selection of beers was a perfect complement to our meal. The service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was pleasant. We definitely recommend this restaurant and will be returning for sure!
