Jayd Bun was voted number 2 Chinese restaurant in the U.S. by Yelp, so I had to go check them out. I tried to go in the winter but the snow storm was bad and I had to cancel my order. I finally was able to go recently and the hype is real. It's best that you pre-order through email the day prior, the cut off time is 4pm. They are quick and responsive via email. It's a take-out only restaurant but they have a small patio with a few picnic tables. There are breweries nearby; The Whalers is right next door. I ordered a bunch of food to try with the family. 1. I’ve tried to order from Jayd Bun every time I’m visiting Peace Dale, and I finally got to taste it for the first time. I placed my lunch order at 7:18pm the night before — fully aware that the latest cutoff time is 4pm — so I was just hoping for the best. Three minutes later, I received a friendly email response saying they could squeeze me in. I requested a 1pm pickup and got a confirmation window of 12:45–12:55pm. Jayd Bun is an amazing takeout restaurant. The love that Annie and Joe put into their work shows through their food. Definitely is the freshest and true authentic Asian food I’ve had in a while. Here in the heart of Wakefield it’s sooooo worth the wait! They’ve just earned a new loyal customer to them forever :) we got the Spicy Yo Po Noodles, Jayd Noodle and Pork Buns! Highly recommend 10/10!! Will be returning many other times hahaha
