“Nice healthy menu, original dishes, quick service”

This place would have been a winner had the food been on par with the decor and the service. Unfortunately the emphasis seems to be in reducing the menu offerings, having them served in less than 3 minutes well arranged but thoroughly lacking in taste. The burrata salad ($22.00) with roasted carrots was bland, and according to my table mate so was the salad on the quiche ($23.00) The hibiscus lime tea ($5.00) had no lime, and following our waiter’s tip to add sugar did not make it any better. The artistry starts at the Café G! The cafe is airy as you’re surrounded by large windows to watch fellow art lovers move about the property. There’s a buzz of busyness and clattering of dishes as diners enjoy their meals. We split the shrimp piccata and pasta shells, as suggested by our server. Each bite was amazing. The chicken salad wrap was devoured by our teenage son, while our youngest chose from the kids menu, pasta with cheese. All presented well. Staff were extremely friendly. A small wait for our table but worth it.

Ate here in-between my visit as I arrived to the museum hungry. 😂 It was definitely busy, but there was a table for one available and I got seated right away. The service was alright...not very attentive, but it was quite busy and tables were rotating fast with new customers. I ordered the Pan-Seared Cod Cake as my waitress informed me it was a favorite of hers. My food came out quick and the cod cake tasted great! I was happy with the recommendation. For my drink I tried their Peaflower tea but asked to have some lemonade mixed in! ☺️

I ordered Chicken Salad Tartine. It was absolutely tasteless. It was not even bad. It just didn't had any taste. And the price of this tasteless dish was $22. Additionally, the serving size was unbelievably small, especially for the US standards. Chocolate Budino was okay, but nothing special. It's really sad that this kind of cafe is located in the building of this great museum.
