We live less than 10 minutes from Lil Ray’s and have ordered takeout from them many times without any problems until now. This time, our shrimp po’boys were soggy, greasy, and unappetizing by the time we got home (photo attached). When we called, the person we spoke with said we could bring the food back so they could look at it, but once we agreed, her tone totally changed. She now seemed to be suggesting the food was only soggy and greasy because we lived “so far away” and that they couldn’t do anything about it. We’ve ordered this meal dozens of times as takeout and never had this issue.

Wasn't expecting to eat the best shrimp po boy sandwich ever, but I did here! I got grilled shrimp that was seasoned to perfection. Hubs had a hamburger, daughter had Mahi po boy they both were delicious too! Small diner like atmosphere with good service and excellent food.

The only place in the area that offers a shrimp and fried green tomato po boy. So good!! The remoulade is perfect, tart/tangy, light consistency that wasn’t heavy or overwhelming. Didn’t think steak cut fries would go well but it did! They take credit card, and offer 3.5% discount with cash. Service was stellar, I’m always a bit conscious of this as I’m new to the area and haven’t always had the most pleasant or welcoming experiences but I’d totally recommend this place to both visitors and locals.

That Jacked Up Roast Beef was amazing....roast beef..grilled ham n pepper jack ham. Was delicious.....no photos we ate it to fast 🤪 boiled potatoes also big hit Boiled crawfish not so much...we got the special n did not like them..you can tell they were boiled a few days before n just sumereged back in hot crab boil wather..so no on crawfish
