We happened to stumble into Elm Diner by chance, and what a find it turned out to be. The moment we walked in, the bright, welcoming atmosphere and spotless space immediately stood out. Always has a great breakfast but I really love the burger. Super affordable either by itself or deluxe with fries and cole slaw. Wish I took a picture of the menu to show the price. Plus it’s only two dollars to add bacon to your burger if you want. basically paid $20 (with tax and tip) for a double bacon cheeseburger deluxe with a Diet Pepsi. The only downside is that you only get 1 refill with the soda. Chicken tenders are good albeit a little expensive. DO NOT GET THE CHICKEN WINGS! They’re so small they’re like sparrow wings. Its been. A few maybe before covid but a friend was in town and asked if I wanted to go. Gl he ordered a steak sammich with chicken rice soup I opted for chicken rice soup and opted for a chef's salad which was listed at 13.and change I can tell you the soups were equal in size yet one was called a bowl the other a cup for a dollar less... Great soup but that was odd the chef salad came out in a full sized. Dinner plate the salad greens was literally invisable under the ham turkey roast beef cold cuts and cheese covering the greens below fantastic !!!
