Very nice family owned breakfast/lunch restaurant. Absolutely everything they serve is delicious with large portions. They serve double eggs meaning if you order 2 eggs there will be 4 on your plate. I've never had a bad meal here and my family has been coming here for over 15 years. Come try it for yourself, you won't regret it.

Homey, welcoming feeling as soon as you walk in. Not too many restaurants like this anymore. Something about it made me feel like I stepped back in time. Excellent hospitality. Bustling and busy atmosphere but attentive service from start to finish. The menu features something for everyone, and my food was delicious. General portions. Reasonable prices. Food took awhile but was served hot. Very popular with all ages, groups of all sizes, even solo diners. Loved the hot Colombian coffee and refills. The owner was kind and personable. Very fun to talk to! Will be back soon!

I had heard great things about this spot in Carol Stream, so we decided to check it out. The food did not disappoint—it was fantastic! Even on a weekday morning, the restaurant was bustling with activity. Despite how busy it was, the service was impressively quick. We ordered the club sandwich, the classic breakfast, and chicken soup, all of which were delicious. The coffee was also good. I’m already looking forward to coming back and trying more dishes.

If you need a good breakfast spot, here it is. Great job with my eggs and breakfast overall. Hash browns were good and pancakes hit the spot. Also tried the panini and I was completely satisfied. The restaurant was clean, and the service was great and attentive. My server was April and she was excellent and kept my coffee cup filled without asking. If you’re in the area, come out and support this local restaurant and avoid chains!
