The food was awful! The mashed potatoes and gravy were more like a soup. The brisket was burnt, the ribs had a weird taste and were cold. $125 dollars for the worst food ever.

This place should change its name to “holy cow” because of my God that was a religious experience! The absolute best BBQ in Whittier! Maybe even in all of Southern California! The tri tip sandwich is perfectly cooked, the bread they use is crusty but not tough, the BBQ beans have a great balance of sweet and salty, even the BBQ sauce tastes great! I have to talk about the macaroni and cheese on its own because wow! The macaroni and cheese reminds me of my favorite macaroni and cheese in the world which was the Mac and cheese that was served to me while working on Thanksgiving at Disneyland. It

Wow… I have been wanting to bring home dinner from Steve’s after work, and I was finally able to time it right. The food was unbelievable! The flavor of the brisket was perfect and so tender. The twice baked potato was the best that I have ever had. They were very kind when I picked up my food, and the restaurant looked so beautiful inside. I will be back hands down!

This place was listed on one of mist fry BBQ place. Pretty nice and cozy place. We had the beef brisket, 1/2 baby back ribs, loaded potatoes, pork belly tacos. The brisket was very tasty and tender while the baby back was a bit tough. The pork belly taco was very tasty. Too much jalapeños but it was good. We also had fried ice cream and the bourbon bread pudding and that was excellent! The services could use some improvements. Food and desserts were served but there was no silverware. Took more than 5 min. To get the utensils plus we weren’t finish eating yet and they are ready to tak
