The cuisine was great. I enjoyed their sushi because they play around with different textures and flavors, which make the dishes feel unique. The customer service was good. The eating area felt a little chilly because they keep the door open. The lighting was reasonable, not too striking or too dim. The music levels were also reasonable. The restaurant was not crowded. Overall, Torino gave us a good experience. :)

I’m surprised there’s a decent ramen place in downtown Wilmette, the quality isn’t bad. The soup stock is a little salty compared to the ones we liked in Japan, after all this restaurant is catered to Americans with much salty taste and not a fan of subtle taste like Asians. The prices are reasonable but wish they charge extra $2 dollars and give us little more noodles. Will return again. On a Friday lunch the place has plenty of seats, don’t need a reservation.
