Our new favorite restaurant in Wilmington. Took my wife there for her birthday. We loved the atmosphere. Not too big , not too small. Tall ceilings with exposed beams. They managed to make the space feel both grand and comfortable. Great seating options with bar seating overlooking the open kitchen , additional bar seating where they’re making drinks, regular tables & booths. Drinks were phenomenal. Wow! Olivero came highly rated for us to try and I see why. Me and my husband dined here for our 1st wedding anniversary last night. Everything was perfect and just what we wanted. Our server, Mike, was fantastic. He was incredibly knowledgeable and provided excellent service. The atmosphere was cozy and perfect for our date night. We made a reservation online and stated that it was our anniversary. The restaurant wrote a happy anniversary card and put it on the table for us which was super thoughtful. Me and my husband went for our anniversary and it did not disappoint! The service was amazing and attention to detail was the name of the game. We shared an ahi tuna small plate which was seared and seasoned to perfection! The woodfire grilled pork chop was one of the best Ive tasted and the rigatoni was robust in flavor. The food was incredible - everything had perfect flavor profiles and we couldn’t get over the pasta or sauce. The Brussels were a favorite too. Plenty of options to choose from. Our server at the bar was wonderful as well. The only negative we had - we made a reservation for two, months ago, but our seat was at the bar, I’ve never seen that before with a reservation and I could certainly see some folks upset about it. When you make a reservation, you expect a table or booth. But due to the food being so good, we overlooked it.
