I went here for dinner while visiting Wilmington on vacation. Everything about this place was great! I went here with my friend, and we ordered the onion dip and chips as an appetizer, we split the beef stroganoff for dinner because it was a lot of food, and then also split the apple strudel for dessert. The beer selections there are also on point. I did flight of 4 samples (the hefeweizen, the kolsch, winter lager, and the amber lager). I am local to Wilmington and have been regular to Prost and finally I wanted to say how great that place is! How many times I have been there, never left disappointed but always happy! My grandmother was German and I have been to many regions of Germany and Prost feels like part of it far away from Germany. I went here with my best friend to celebrate my birthday out of town and it was a cute place. The plants and light décor were different, plus the broken-down piano behind the bar to use as shelving was a neat idea. I had a non-alcoholic drink that was orange in color and pretty disgusting. Came here on a Friday night for the 1st time on 03.20.2026. The server was really nice and the hostess suggested a different table for us as there was a group of ten very loud men sitting right next to us.We ordered Jägerschnitzel, Spätzle, and red cabbage. Unfortunately the sides were only barely lukewarm, but the Schnitzel which was huge was hot and tasted great. I also had the Radler beer drink and we shared the Apfelstrudel for two which was huge. The prices are very reasonable considering how big the portions are. We live in Raleigh but will definitely eat here at Prost Biergarten again
