This place is ahhhhmazing! We went for lunch and got right in. We were greeted immediately with a very attentive server. During the month of June they had bottomless mimosas for $14. So of course I had that. Hubby had oysters and he devoured them. We also had the Crab Rangoon dip. All I can say is DELICIOUS! For our meal I had the grouper fingers with fries, coleslaw, and hush puppies. He had shrimp and grits. Everything was great. The atmosphere was inviting and relaxing. We love Maritime! The food is always very good, and the service is consistently friendly and welcoming. The owners are especially kind. They have Latin Night on the last Saturday of the month, with a free salsa class followed by a party. It is so much fun great music, dancing, and a very nice, safe atmosphere. It’s a wonderful addition to the community! Highly recommend Maritime if you’re looking for great food and a fun night out in Winter Haven.

Maritime offers a laidback vibe for those wanting to appreciate good seafood in the up-and-coming Bowen Yard. Run away from the low-quality food chains by driving 5 minutes off the main road to find this hidden gem. We had many items and they all tasted good. Service was also good.

Very cool place that got recommended to me. We drove from Lakeland to take advantage of the $1 oysters on Mondays. We had 4 dozen oysters, 2 steamed, and 2 raw. We also each had salads. The oysters tasted delicious and were definitely fresh. The side salad was a steal for $6. It was a side Caesar and they did not cut corners on the dressing or Parmesan. It was a nice sized bowl too. The bartender paid little attention to us even though it was slow. The manager(so I think), a gentleman came and made sure we were taken care of and had everything we needed.
