These guys have been open forever, since I was a young boy. I've had donuts and a lot of places and I'm not just saying this, but these are probably the best donuts anywhere. Perfectly soft and fluffy, airy, not heavy so you don't feel so bloated, and the dough is nice and soft almost stretchy, very amazing. The service is always spectacular, and I really really really appreciate them being open on chinese new year. Donut Star is hands down the best. Literally everything they make is delicious (the donuts, muffins, and croissants are all elite). I love the old times feel of the shop and wouldn't change a thing. Plus, it's family-owned and operated by the finest people you'll ever meet. You have to try the mini apple fritters - when they're fresh and warm there is nothing better. Nuked in the microwave is next best.
