I was putting on a quasi "high tea" for my sister's birthday and wanted a few treats for all of us to try. Bean was close by and well stocked. Most of the items were large, such as the cupcakes, but everything was delicious. The place was spacious and clean. It was a little on the pricey side but I would definitely revisit for special occasions. It had a cool vibe to hang out in and just have coffee/tea if that is more your jam. I wish there were more smaller treats for sharing instead of having to cut everything into smaller portions but we certainly made do.

I had a work meeting and our Worcester office is just up the road from this cute cafe! Off street parking. Big display cases of goodies. It was so hard to choose! I sought out this bakery specifically for their ability to do gluten free desserts. Scoped it out for the family member with the allergen. You can see their baking facilities through glass windows just beside the cafe area! I love watching bakers work their magic. We love Bean Counter. My husband and I both went to WPI and Bean Counter was always a special treat during our years there. This past fall we got married and from the start of planning I knew that I wanted our cake to come from Bean Counter. We did side by side taste tests with some other well rated bakeries but Bean Counter came out on top.
