I recently ate at 2nd St Grill with a group of friends, and overall I would say the experience was just okay. The restaurant itself was nice, clean, and welcoming when we walked in. The atmosphere definitely gives off more of an upscale casual vibe, and the staff was polite during our visit. One thing that did stand out right away was the seating situation. There were four of us, and two of the guys with me are on the heavier side. Stopped in with a friend while passing through Yakima. Had the clam chowder and a Cobb salad. Both were excellent! The Cobb salad was not only good to eat but had a great visual presentation. My buddy had a burger with bacon. He was positive about the quality of the meat and the size of the portion. It was accompanied by nice selection of veggies for topping the burger. We were in early during the lunch period so it wasn’t too crowded. The server was friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back.
