Visited May 15 2026. I met my girlfriend here as we were going to go shopping at the mall in Yuba City. ( she paid). It's a very small restaurant but they have plenty of outdoor seating. DOG friendly outside which was nice! I didn't give them 5 stars because they seemed engaged with the locals. Slow service. We split the breakfast sammy which was good but nothing special. We didn't spend much time here as we were heading to the mall to go shopping! Ps. Alittle difficult to find as I am not a local.

I’ve heard great things about this restaurant. I just think I need to come back and try lunch/dinner. The place is super cute and homey, its small but we walked right in and sat at a booth type table. The service was just OK. The two ladies helping us weren’t the friendliest and seemed annoyed when we asked about the menu. One of the women was super friendly with people we assumed were regulars, but as soon as she got to our table and another near us that demeanor was just gone. Worst breakfast ever .. and I'm in my 70s... I was drawn in by the reviews of the sourdough pancakes. They were flat and chewy.. the only waitress acted like she would have rather been anywhere else the entire time we were there. Didn't see a friendly interaction between her and anyone so I didn't take it personally. When I mentioned I wasn't crazy about the pancakes. She offered to get me something else, but when she said even the buttermilk pancakes were flat and chewy like the sourdough pancakes I got, I opted not to get anything else. The food is good, but honestly, the service is terrible. We sat there and waited for almost 45 minutes. And then they only brought person's meal and she was pretty much done eating it and by the time I got mine, which is just ridiculous, our waitress avoided making eye contact with us the entire time, I was really disappointed in the service sometimes when even the food is good, the service can ruin a place for you.
