I’m sorry, but being born and raised in Ohio, A&W is a cherished memory. Came through Zanesville during a business trip and had to stop. BIG MISTAKE. Placed the order online while in the parking lot, spent 10 minutes waiting in line for the drive through to move. I didn’t mind the waiting, it should indicate that the employees are hard at work. Get up to the window, wait another 6 minutes before a girl asks if anyone gave us our drinks. We said they hadn’t, and we waited another 5 minutes. Everything’s passed out to us in one shot. It's like they a) don't want customers and b) don't realize they are there to help travellers who are stopping for the night. I was staying next door at a motel and was starving after driving all day. They're open until 10, but I pulled up at 815 and all the chairs were turned up. Then, they tell me they stop serving chicken at 830. I thought they were getting ready to close. But they were still open for over an hour. Unbelievable. One order of cheese curds was all I got. Best curds anywhere, but not dinner. Then I went next door to Subway where things went from bad to better... Anyw

I had to give this restaurant three stars due to the fact it took me over 10 minutes to get my so-called "fast food". The restaurant itself was fairly clean and the food was definitely on the better side of fast food for this area. True to nature in this area the staff lacked common courtesy and they were extremely slow. I would probably eat here again because the fish sandwiches were actually good.
