“The best latte in Lusaka! Had the latte, French onion soup, chicken schnitzel with rocket salad and their hand cut fries. The food was delicious!!! Service was great! And they had umbrellas which we could use to walk to the car when it rained. Will definitely visit again to try their breakfast next.”
“The Coffee is fantastic, locally roasted beans and well executed by the barista. The food is definitely outstanding too. And whatever I write about the ambiance is an understatement”

Salmaan Saleem★★★★★Had an amazing breakfast/brunch at the newly opened Little Bird cafe & bistro. Loved the outdoor sitting area over looking the garden, great food presentation and amazing food. The menu is limited but they are good at what they do. They also have great coffee and cold pressed juices. We order the smoked salmon Rosti, Little Birds Breakfast and banana bread. Will definitely be back soon. Left the cafe full and satisfied.

Kelly Huckaby★★★★★UPDATE: 9 months later: My favorite restaurant in Lusaka. Hands down. No one else gets close. Small menus, lovely food, high quality and consistent. Something so rare, especially in Lusaka. Long live Little Bird. (old review: So, why only 4 stars overall, if the food, service, and atmosphere were all 5 stars? I think that it’s a 5 star spot that needs some time to make sure they can keep up their consistency and excellence. A little hard to find the entrance without a sign but it’s a fabulous find once you do. Small menu (usually a good sign), lots of great food, nice ambiance and excellent coffee as well. Hope to visit multiple times and try more off the menu.)
Diana Sakala★★★★It's a little outdoor cafe-type of setting located in Kabulonga, same yard as Open Window University. It has such a calm scenery. I like the fact that despite being small in size, it's still has enough space to fit different groups of people. They keep it neat and not exaggerated in terms of deco. The service was okay, a little slow and off(my waiter was neither rude nor inefficient, he just seemed a little uninterested and distracted for most of my time there). Fellow staff members also weren't as helpful and again, they equally seemed distracted and uninterested in providing service. Hopefully they work on that as time goes by. Both of the plates I ordered had a difference to it. The smoked salmon Rosti was good, I didn't enjoy the hash brown and onion that much but the rest of it was okay. The best was the Eggplant Caponata! Would highly recommend, especially for vegetarians(if you're allergic to nuts please do not order this as they use lots of them in this meal). I wanted to tr
Paula Nahmi★★★★This is a place to go to for brunch but my stop here was kind of a quick. I ordered a Smoked Salmon Rosti which was a little underwhelming because I didn’t particularly enjoy the hash brown. The chamomile tea was a 1/5 and it’s mainly what made my meal less enjoyable. I’ll probably need to make another stop but I liked the scenery and their staff were friendly. Update: Had a cute coffee date and I must say, I really love their coffee lattes. Took the cutest picture of it too.
Armand vd Bergh★★★★I was recommended to try Plain Perdu with caramelized Apples French Toast. The staff were very friendly and the food service was very quick. I am not a sweet person, but boy, this was delicious. The French toast alone tastes simple, but after mixing the caramelized apples together, the flavors combined exploded in my mouth. It's definitely a place I will visit again to try the other menu items

Thomas Lister★★★★★My family and I have been frequenting Little Bird for breakfast for a long time now, but tonight was the first time we tried their dinner and it was incredible. The fried chicken burger was delicious, the steak was delicious, the charred broccoli was delicious and the pavlova was sensational (and as an Australian we know a thing or two about our pavlovas). The atmosphere was great for relaxing and talking while the service was very professional. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
