Sonia Abbassi★★★★★This restaurant is a must when visiting Yerevan!! The food was really delicious especially creme brulee with caramelized carrot!! I've never tasted anything like that! But what makes this restaurant so spesial is the owner. He was absolutely funny and because of him the athmosphere was really unique.
Juan Uribe★★★★★This is a very good restaurant. It's not on the trendiest part of town but it's the best we've tried in a week in Yerevan. The food is very creative with strong local flavours. The service is incredible and made our night unforgettable. If you're looking for a place to have a special meal, a bit different from the usual traditional places (which are also very good!), this is the place to go. Be aware, the entrance is a bit hidden, it's downstairs.
Steph★★★★★We chose this restaurant to experience Yerev for our first night in Armenia and WOW. As soon as we stepped into the place we were struck by the ambiance, the decor, the art and the respectful welcome. It’s like stepping into a different world. We chose the 5 course meal each with wine and none of us are usually comfortable in fancy restaurants but at this place you feel like you belong like at a friend’s place. The owner is a wonderful person, drinking wine with his guests, talking, joking and just overall making our experience unforgettable. We will come back to Armenia (from Sweden) only to go back to this restaurant!
Adriana Lucaciu★★★★★The chef and owner is a very playful, passionate and creative person and you can feel that both in the plate and in the interactions. We loved that the menu changes slightly depending on what he finds fresh that day (I assume). Been there twice and felt like eating delicious food at a friend's place.
Shane Hattingh★★★★★My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary at Barev Arev, and all I can say is WOW, great atmosphere, friendly interaction with the owner, and boy was the food amazing. Each dish on the menu compliments the next (and that is not easy to achieve), would highly recommend the duck, its out of this world, please take our advise and include a stop over at Barev Arev when you plan your next trip, you will not be disappointed, thank you Barev Arev, you will be seeing us again!!

Ksenia Deresh★★★★★High cousin restaurant in Yerevan Highly recommend place. Really exceptional. Good atmosphere, very cozy. This place gives you feeling that you are very dear guest. The chief is welcoming the guests and serving the food himself. So you get the precious contact with the author of the masterpiece. Good is delicious. 5 dishes are served one after another giving you time to enjoy the process. The set is harmoniously arranged, so nothing can be added, it’s really perfect. The place has exceptional collection of wines of Armenia. Really love it. Must visit in Yerevan
Ethan★★Had the 5 course tasting menu. Most of the dishes were decent/alright. Ordered mushroom linguine for one of the course. It tasted bland to me, I think it was only seasoned with the cheese shavings without any salt and sauce was watery. The pasta was rather soft and showed the owner that the pasta was easily cut with a slight push from the fork but the response was that he doesn’t like his pasta al dente and he can’t check the cooking time for the pasta now. I was offered salt and more shavings of cheese. I think for a fine dining restaurant at this price tag, the service recovery could have been better. If the pasta is usually well cooked, maybe it is better to inform the diner in advance and check if it needs to be adjusted to Al Dente which should be the norm for pasta. Decor of the restaurant was alright.
