XIAOLING SHU★★★★★This was the most delightful meal we had during our honeymoon in Australia. Fine dining restaurants we’ve tried before usually excel in presentation but fall short on taste. However, this place serves dishes that look and taste absolutely amazing, with thoughtful and attentive service as well. The staff also noticed our special request in the reservation and prepared a festive plating for us. Their thoughtfulness really set a lovely mood. We will definitely dine here again if we ever come back to Canberra. It was an incredibly wonderful and memorable experience. One more tips — parking here
Didy Manamperi★★★★★Had the pleasure of dining at Waters Edge in Canberra, and it definitely lives up to its reputation. Sitting right on the edge of Lake Burley Griffin, the views alone set the tone — calm, classy, and a perfect backdrop for a proper dining experience. The food was next level. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavour, with a real focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients. You can tell a lot of thought goes into the menu — it’s refined without being over the top. Service was spot on as well. Attentive without hovering, and the staff really knew their stuff when it came to the men
Joonhee Wang★★★★★Had to make time change on the day and Fritz was very accommodating and understanding. Dined at the private dome with 3 course (they give couple of appetisers too), food was so good (portion was on the bigger side), and the service was professional. I also agree from another review, the dome having a musky damp scent, perhaps from being in the dome. It was a special dining experience in the dark outside by the lake. They also brought out dessert with a candle to celebrate the occasion. The dome has an aircon inside so you would never be hot/cold.
{CJ} Jay★★★We were celebrating a special occasion and made the decision to have dinner at the waters edge. We chose the 3-course meal in a private dome. To begin with, I must say that the 3 stars are exclusively for the food. The food was outstanding, beautifully arranged, generous portions, and utterly delightful. However, the service, on the other hand, deserves a -2 star rating! Our reservation was at 2030, and it had rained before we arrived. When we got there, there was no warm welcome; we were simply led into a dome with a single table lamp. The moment I stepped into the dome, I was greeted
