Adrienne Lohmeyer★★★I bought a selection of pies, pasties and sausage rolls which were all delicious. Sadly the same cannot be said for the Texas Choc Chip muffin. This looked delicious but completely collapsed as soon as it was cut as it was to be shared. I ended up with a pile of crumbs which had to be eaten with a spoon. Thankfully I was sharing with family or the entire muffin would have ended up in the bin.
Rebecca Weller★I have had 2 experiences with this bakery and neither of them were good, which is a shame because it is the closest bakery to my house. The older blonde lady in there a few months ago absolutely refused to put a cake one of my kids made as a joke in the fridge for 5 mins, which i partly understand but she was so rude about it. I thought today i would give them another chance and asked if i could get 30 rolls for tomorrow (yes i understand short notice but you have to try) and she was so rude, just 'no, we need 72 hours', not "hey i might be able to hold a couple of bags for you, or try this ot
Yeon Kim★★★★★I would like to mention Orla’s excellent service. She is always kind and greets every guest with a warm smile. Even when it becomes very busy, she works efficiently and quickly while making sure every customer is happy. At the same time, she never loses her smile during service, even in stressful moments. What impressed me most is that she remembers me, as I come every Saturday to collect a Dulwich sticker, and she gives me one without me even having to ask. Her great service is impossible to ignore. She is one of the reasons I keep coming back to Dulwich Parade again and again. Thank you so
Neil Walter★★A visit to the Dulwich Bakery always reminds me of the Monty Python cheese shop sketch: "Have you got any...?" "No". Their business model appears to be just make only as much as you need to cover costs. They have an extensive menu of items; they just never have them available. Best go there around 11:00am. At lunchtime, there will be no pasties, one sausage roll, and a few of their less traditional pies. This issue is common to the whole franchise. I have a friend who complained about the same thing back when the original shop opened in Dulwich many years ago.
