This was my first time dining at Alfonsinos in Darwin, and it definitely left a great impression on me. I ordered the pizza and pasta, and both were absolutely delicious. The food was fresh, full of flavor, and definitely worth the price. What made the experience even better was the excellent service. Every staff member was warm, welcoming, and friendly from the moment we walked in until we left. They made us feel comfortable and well looked after throughout our visit. I ordered the sausage and friarielli pizza outstanding. Great dough, generous sausage, and fresh friarielli all year round, perfectly balanced and full of flavor. The service is exceptional: attentive and genuinely welcoming. The atmosphere relaxed and authentic. The space is semi open, as you’d expect in Darwin, yet still very cozy and inviting. Where do I even begin. Hands down the best pizza and pasta in Darwin. Amazing food, great service and such a chill, welcoming vibe. This was my birthday dinner and the team absolutely nailed it. I’m literally writing this review from the table because it’s that good. All around me I could hear people at other tables saying things like “I’m so full” and “best in town” and honestly, if you’re reading this and decide to try Alfoncinos, I guarantee you’ll hear the same. Go there for the pizzas ! The dough is particularly delicious. Pastas are average. Shame that you cannot enjoy a S.Pellegrino sparkling water in an Italian restaurant, despite you find them in the supermarket. You better eat your pizza with your hands as the knives don’t even cut butter. Terrace is quiet and cosy at dusk. The tiramisu is ok, pistachio panna cotta is good. 4 stars still thanks to the excellent quality of the pizzas (prosciutto cotto e funghi).
