The great service here started from when when we rang rather than booked online. We wanted to eat as soon as possible and were told just make your way there and we will sort it out. Arrived. Seated. Beautiful gin chilli cocktail to start with. Prawns and haloumi as our starters. Both were amazing. Fish and such as the mains. Also wonderful. My wife loved the sauce on the fish in particular. I was told I had to order the miniature tarts for dessert as my wife wanted to try them. They were amazing. A night that we needed. Thanks

Went for the first time after my partner booked it for Valentines Day 💘 What a wonderful experience. Firstly the service was so welcoming, attentive and friendly. The set menu was incredible and great serving sizes, the catering for vegetarian diet was done really well! The venue had a nice vibe, was not too loud and somehow still felt intimate despite being booked out. A lovely Valentines, Thankyou Black Sheep.

Had a wonderful dining experience! The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and full of character. While the service started a bit slow, it quickly picked up, and we ended up having a fantastic time. The gin tasting menu is a standout; each gin comes with a thoughtful description that adds to the experience. The atmosphere is cosy and inviting. Definitely looking forward to returning!

We recently dined at Black Sheep and felt the experience fell short given the restaurant’s reputation. While the waitress was friendly, the service felt quite casual for a premium venue. Wine was served without presentation, glasses had visible fingerprints, and an entrée of chips and halloumi was served after the waitress accidentally spilled the chips, with the dish not corrected. After spending over $350, both the service and food quality were average. Overall, it was a noticeable drop from our visit around 10 months ago.
