A nice little find in Launnie. Started off with a peach jelly sake, then the sashimi of the day - kingfisher, as we as agedashi tofu. All served fresh with v friendly staff. I had takeaway tiramisu, it was v light and delicious as a small supper. Highly recommend this restaurant for fresh, authentic Japanese food.

Potato salad had half a soy egg, so yum! The okonomiyaki had 3 little but very fresh and tasty tiger prawns inside. Loved the peach dessert, it was so light and refreshing with the chilled early grey jelly and chunks of crunchy peach :)

What a surprise gem! The blue eyed trevalley sashimi was a creamy, delicate delight balanced with ponzu and pickled radish. Friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere rounded out the experience. This insufferable sydney food snob was seriously impressed.

Food was unfortunately below average. We ordered 4 dishes - Oysters- they were fine nothing special but not bad. - Fried Eggplant - Very Bland and not crunchy. - chicken karaage - Freshly made and best thing we had. - prawn okonomiyaki- inedible parts. The top was burnt in many spots and the inside tasted doughy undercooked. Minimal prawn, but it was a very disappointing dish. Covered with sweet sauce to possibly hide the burnt, but it tasted bitter and charred. Service was good, attentive servers, but I would recommend go else where the reviews are skewed and I would look else where, as Launn
