I’ve eaten at Mellow Bistro multiple times, both takeaway and dine-in, and it’s hands down the best Chinese in the area. The lunch specials are fantastic value for the portion sizes, and everything is consistently full of flavour. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, and the service is prompt whether you’re dining in or ordering takeaway. Food is prepared quickly and the portions are generous every time. Highly recommend.

Had lunch with family on 29Dec24, food is good we realised later food delivered on table we had ordered too much as the portion of mains are large, serving person did not helpful in mentioning the quantity and she left after serving food BUT food is must try level. We came in just before closing time but they welcomed with smile ♥️. Check their menu and don’t miss to order Home Fried rice very affordable to 1 person 👍.

Netty. Was. Here.. Maitland’s best Chinese restaurant hands down! Long standing in the community and there’s no wondering why, when you can hear all the other customers talking about how good it tastes. Get ready to be nodding in appreciation of flavors with every bite! I’ve tried many dishes here all have been incredibly delicious. Today’s stand out was the wonton soup, those wontons were filled with massive chunks of prawns! Yummo!

My wife and I attended this restaurant when we were in Maitland for a wedding. We were extremely impressed and surprised with thw quality of dishes being presented in front of us. We read reviews online and that contributed to us wanting to visit this restaurant. We were not disappointed at all. The Hong Kong chef is extremely particular and runs a very tight ship.The freshest ingredients and sooooo tasty. The decor is very simple but foid is amazing. You must go. Thank you Mello Bistro.
