Ka Yan Chu★★★★★Highly recommend! We came here because of the great reviews, and we were so impressed. The shop maintained a clean, welcoming atmosphere despite the rain. The staff were lovely, and the drink display behind the cash register was perfectly organized and pristine. From the very first bite, we knew the high ratings were well-deserved. The food is phenomenal! The fillings are bursting, the flavor combination is perfect, and it leaves you full without feeling heavy. I'm already wishing I could eat it again tonight. Can't wait for my next visit!
Mike Skip★★★★★Decided to head to Hung’s Bakery on Victoria Street for some banh mi and it definitely lived up to the hype. The service was fantastic, items priced well, and the value for money is hard to beat. The banh mi was spot on, fresh, crunchy bread, crispy pork was perfect, with amazing flavour throughout, easily a 10/10. Be prepared for a bit of a wait as the queue can get long, but we honestly didn’t mind at all. Great experience from start to finish and we’ll definitely be back.
nicole chan★★★★Really good service despite the long line. Banh mi was above average - bun was really crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Ingredients were generous and I enjoyed their version of crispy pork. However, I felt that the pate and mayo wasn’t strong enough. It tasted like a very clean and healthy banh mi.
Naomi Howe★★★★★Proper Vietnamese Banh mi. They even make their own rolls there! The wait is a little longer (10 mins or so) but that’s because they make every banh mi from scratch - no pre preparation to ensure maximum freshness. Absolutely worth the wait.
