Came 15 mins before closing time and the staff were super friendly and helpful. I ate this regularly in America for over a year and this was an exact 1:1 experience. The hotdog is unbeatable, the burgers are super flavourful and really well balanced, and the Cookies & Cream milkshake is insanely good. All the food is fresh and peanut oil is so gooood.

The Vibe Oli (resident burger connoisseur) insisted we walk from QVB down past Wynyard into what initially felt like a slightly questionable back-alley situation… and then boom — underground American diner energy. It’s got that cool, no-frills, red-and-white, loud-and-busy vibe. Five stars for five guys! Exceptional burgers made fresh to order with pretty much any topping you want. I absolutely love the fries, and the free drink refills are a great bonus. It is a little pricey, but honestly, for a burger that fresh and delicious, I’m happy to pay it. Classic Australian additions like pineapple, beetroot, or egg don’t seem to be available since it’s an American-style restaurant. The service was also very friendly. Highly recommend!

The unlimited soda refills were a great touch, keeping the meal fun and refreshing. The staff were super friendly and provided excellent service, making the whole visit even better.
