Such a nice jazz bar! They have a program every evening starting at 21h. If you arrive before then there’s probably some space to sit, but it does get busy. There’s two floors though and the interior is so nice. Very friendly staff and nice musicians. Had a great night!

I visited many bars in Antwerp, but this place stays with you. The atmosphere is impossible to fake — centuries-old brick walls, dim lighting, live jazz echoing through the room and a crowd that genuinely comes for the music. De Muze feels less like a bar and more like a living piece of Antwerp’s cultural history. I’ve been to this bar several times. The live music is often excellent and really worth the visit. Unfortunately, the service is consistently disappointing: bartenders tend to chat among themselves, come across as unfriendly, and sometimes appear unhygienic (and don't know how to properly pour a beer). It gives the impression they’re not particularly engaged with the atmosphere or the jazz scene. That said, the quality of the music and the selection of great beers largely compensate for these shortcomings.
