Delicious Mussels and Fries – A Must-Try in Antwerp Maritime appeared in our search for a good restaurant offering mussels in Antwerp, so we gave it a try. We ordered a cream and garlic and a chef’s special - both were delicious and very generous servings. Served with fresh potato fries and a delicious homemade mayonnaise. The restaurant itself is small, and while it was busy, we weren’t rushed. They have a large wine list, but only a few options of rosé, which made decision making very easy as we prefer a rosé ! Recommended!

Genuinely, I think the place is alright, but what surprised me: 1. They dont have a drinks menu - when you order you simply dont know how expensive it is. I would not expect that in the restaurant of this category😀 2. Menu says “if you order only starter, you get +7 EUR charge.” “If only dish to share, then also additional charge”. basically, I was very nervous if anything I am doing will be for additional charge. About food: ordered mussels - they were alright I guess. Many of them were broken - I was hesitant.

Ate here for dinner and ordered their white wine Moules frites and their serving is pretty huge, one was more than enough for me. The mussels were steamed just right and I ate 3/4s of my bucket. Service was pleasant. Over all enjoyed our dinner here, it also is near the square so you can see the square lit up at night.
