Three trips to Bruges now and three corresponding visits to this restaurant. I think it gets better every visit. This time I finally remembered to make a reservation and was able to enjoy the courtyard. I really enjoyed the crispy ayam and gyoza, as well as the geuze beer that was recommended to me. The highlight (besides the wonderful service) was the crème brûlée. I’ll admit it was a surprise when I received it—it’s a tart version not a traditional crème brûlée—but i ate it so quickly I did not end up with a photo. I want to recreate this crème brûlée at home!

As a meat eater traveling with a vegetarian, this place was perfect. Something for everyone. Coming from California, we know tacos, and theirs were ab fab!! Great offerings of beers, wine, and cocktails. Excellent vibes and amazing food. We went there 2 nights in a row and felt it was the best of our trip (through France, Belgium, and the Netherlands). Highly recommend as a not to miss spot.

Remarkable. Even behind scaffolding, this place was humming on a temperamental Wednesday evening. Warm period design with a modern kick, Rose Red embraces you the moment you step through the door. The team is both 100% relaxed and 100% professional. The tapas/share plate offerings are varied, quite substantial, and good value. Beer list is classy: tap beers are eclectic, but also very fresh. There are some great little recommendations by the bottle. Remarkable range of Belgian beers, including some long-aged lambics. I need more time here.... Well done team.

Managed to get an early table on a Saturday evening. Lovely atmosphere, staff were very welcoming even though they were busy. Service was quick but we didn't feel rushed. Food (carpaccio, potatoes and prawn croquettes) was lovely. We found that 3 plates between us was plenty but we don't have huge appetites. Well worth a visit - it was even recommended by our tour guide later on - but think you'll probably have to book in advance later in the season.
